Dr. Restrepo was born in Philadelphia and raised in Berks county. He earned his bachelor of arts and sciences degree from Johns Hopkins University. He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. He completed his surgical internship and well as his otolaryngology residency at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. He earned the Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasound (ECNU) from the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE).
He is board certified with the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the Pennsylvania Academy of Otolaryngology. He is on the active staff of The Surgical Institute of Reading, Saint Joseph Medical Center and the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Restrepo and his wife have two children. He has been in practice since 1987.
